Sir DZUNKAM Simo Tah Dzu

Biography

Every ACE member should remember President SIMO as one of the great visionaries of the emergence of black cultural organizations of his time. Through his dynamism, he worked to produce a new era for the Cameroonian community: openness to other communities, establishing cooperation with major diplomatic bodies. His involvement with Alberta's francophonie, including radio broadcasts, has made him one of Alberta's most proactive leaders. He has left a solid foundation for ACE to continue to thrive.
For professional reasons, he will be leaving Edmonton to settle with his family in Ottawa, where he will work for the Government of Canada, while always serving his ACE community as a great advisor until the end.

Kenny Raphael NYEMEG YETNA

RIP -  Aug2023.

The Nyemeg family, active members of ACE, announced the terrible tragedy of the death of their young child Kenny Raphael. Devastated by his passing, “Kiko” reminds us of the essential purpose of ACE.
His story, and the testimonies of his family, inspired us to create a more secure environment (in all aspects) for the children, by transforming the youth activities we had in the past, into a youth program emphasizing academic, cultural, sports, artistic, entrepreneurial education, ... In his memory, we launched the IWDIMAA (My Roots) youth program.
